About Us

We are a young club. Our aims are simple. We offer excellence in Aikido to all comers.

Our Sensei, Mr Kirkpatrick, teaches a progressive syllabus approved at national and international level. As a result our members should feel welcome and at home in any good dojo around the world.

We are part of RENSHINKAN house, part of the United Kingdom Aikikai. Our organisation is approved and supported by the Hombu Dojo in Japan. For those of you aware of martial language this means our lineage is secure and well respected.

What do we offer?

Currently we offer a two hour Aikido Class in Leominster every Sunday with plans to offer a second lesson in the near future. A separate lesson which will meet the needs of children is also about to get up and running.

What do we expect?

Members can be of any level of fitness, either gender and come with any or no martial background. All you need to bring is a willingness to learn and an ability to enjoy yourself whilst learning an effective martial art.

Aikido is likely to get under your skin so commitment is something that most practitioners develop early on.

What does it cost.

Lessons are £5 each. Membership of our club is £40 per year and includes insurance membership of the UKA and British Aikido Board.

If you have difficulty meeting these costs, then let us know. Our interest is Aikido not cash.

If you decide its for you then a gi and some wooden weapons can be purchased in your own time.
